Hello friends,
Happy March! This month, we’ll be:
- Reviewing some of the wonderful museums here in North Carolina
- “Visiting” Ireland (I know, creative genius here!)
- Sharing some unique stay-cation ideas, and
- Featuring more fabulous money saving vacation tips!

Today, I’m guest posting at my friend Leigh’s blog: One and One Equals Twin Fun! Leigh and her sweet family are vacationing in Tampa, Florida — testing out my handy dandy Tampa Vacation Recommendations.
I enjoyed writing for her… Really, I used the opportunity to convince her she and her sweet family need to come visit me here in Raleigh. So, hop on over to Leigh’s blog — and if you think I was persuasive, help me out by leaving an encouraging comment! THANKS!

A staycation post is such a fabulous idea! Good motivation to check out local resources.

Hi there-
Love to read your posts and a staycation highlight is a great idea. Every family should seek out something in their backyard that is a “must see.”

IRELAND!!! I would LOVE to visit there someday.
I also look forward to staycation advice. My least favorite part of vacation is the packing and unpacking for a family of 4 so staycation is right up my alley!

Ireland is on our bucket list- I’ll be interested to read. Oh, and is that a cicada in your pic? I’m kinda creeped out and fascinated.

Happy March!
Love the idea of seeing some staycataion posts. I think that is big for a lot of families who can’t necessarily get out to big destinations. There is often so much to see within our own region that we don’t know about.

Thanks, Crys. I’m excited about the staycation series…. Nothing beats tooling around town (rather than huge tanks of gas to get somewhere else) to discover themed adventures. I hope they inspire you.
