Grapevine, Texas, a quintessential American town near Dallas, is kicking off summer with the 30th Annual Main Street Days from May 16-18 in the historic downtown area. The festival includes family friendly activities like the Grillin’ Competition at the Town Square Gazebo, live music on stages throughout the venue, a Carnival Midway and shopping on Main Street.
Main Street Days opens Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m. and admission is free until 5 p.m. Festival hours are Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 18, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
After 5 p.m. on Friday, adults are $7 and children 6 – 12 and seniors are $5. Weekend passes are $15. Souvenir weekend passes are $20. Free shuttles run continuously from designated parking lots.

Main Street Days for kids
KidCave is back this year, providing up close and personal experiences with creatures from the SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium. LEGOLAND Discovery Center will also be there with the Junior Builder Competition.

This year’s event includes a brand new series of 4 pre-festival craft brew and culinary events throughout the week leading up to Main Street Days. Featuring food to complement the craft brew experience, local brewmasters will lead these experiences:
- Chill, 814 S. Main St., Tuesday, May 6, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., featuring Widmer Brothers Brewing (Portland, OR), $35;
- Gaylord Texan Resort, 1501 Gaylord Trail, Thursday, May 8, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., featuring Real Ale (Blanco, TX), $75;
- Flips Patio Grill, 415 State Hwy. 114, Monday, May 12, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., featuring Saint Arnold (Houston, TX) $35;
- Tolbert’s Restaurant, 423 S. Main St., Tuesday, May 13, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., featuring Franconia Brewery (McKinney, TX), $45.
